ABOUT OUR LOCATION

Our self catering accommodation is located on the shores of Loch Long in Dornie in the Highlands of Scotland. The house is ideally situated to explore Skye & Lochalsh. Our property is surrounded by amazing mountains with many great walks that offer terrific photo opportunities. The village of Dornie also has a shop. A cosy pub and hotel both serving great food are located just 2 minutes walk from Glas Eilean View. We are also located a short walk from the famous Eilean Donan Castle. Close by are The 5 sisters of Kintail taking in 3 Munro’s and The Falls of Glomach - one of the highest and most isolated waterfalls in Britain. The Isle of Skye is also only a short drive away with its many famous iconic locations such as The Fairy Pools and The Old Man of Storr. Read more below.
